• USIA does not handle routine visa matters. Please direct visa questions to the U.S. Department of State, visa services or to the American Embassy or Consulate in your country.

• U.S. students interested in graduate study abroad through USIA's Fulbright program:
  Please contact your campus study abroad office for information on USIA's Fulbright Graduate scholarships, administered by the Institute of International Educa tion.

• International students seeking information on financial aid for study in the U.S. and general information on U.S. colleges and universities:
  Please contact the nearest U.S. Educational Advising center from among the over 400 USIA-affiliated centers worldwide. You may also contact the U.S. Information Service (USIS) office through the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

  Unfortunately, we cannot answer most requests for foreign financial aid sent to this website. Please check directly with your overseas USIS office, Educational Advising Center, or with the financial aid office of the U.S. educational institution you are i nterested in.

  International students already in the United States should contact their campus financial aid office and foreign student advisor.

• Foreign policy inquiries from U.S. citizens:
