If you know your USIA five-digit case number, please include that number on your check as well as your date of birth. If you do not have the case number, please print your name on the check and include your date of birth to assure proper recording. .

Remittances must be drawn on a bank or other institution located in the United States (U.S) and made payable in United States currency to the USIA. A charge of $25.00 will be imposed if a check is not honored by the bank on which it is drawn. If the applicant resides outside the United States at the time of application, remittance may be made by bank international money order of foreign draft drawn on an institution in the United States and made payable to the United States Information Agency in U.S. currency.

We recommend you send your check via registered mail, return receipt requested. This way you will have a record of the date of receipt at USIA.
