Program Overview
The
Branch for the Study
of the United States promotes better understanding of the
people, society, culture, and institutions of the United States. The
Branch offers Institutes
for the Study of the U.S. and special projects developed in conjunction
with USIS posts overseas. In addition, the Branch has been active
in producing and distributing Study of the U.S. materials and the
American Studies Collection.
