Resources on
Higher Education in the United States
The
U.S. Network for Education Information (USNEI)
is a federal interagency and public/private partnership that serves
as the official U.S. national education information center under agreements
to which the United States is a party. Managed by the National
Library of Education, USNEI provides comprehensive electronic
information and referral services for Americans wanting information
about education abroad and foreigners seeking information about U.S.
education.
If you are in
a country other than the United States, you may wish to contact the
nearest United
States Information Service (USIS) office or Information
Resource Center (IRC) to learn about additional information resources
that are available.
Another resource
on education in the United States is the Educational Resources Information
Center (ERIC) network, a federally-funded national information system
that provides a variety of services and products on a broad range
of education-related issues. The AskERIC
Internet-based service provides education information to teachers,
librarians, counselors, administrators, parents, and others.
