All traffic utilizing the Torras Causeway will be monitored crossing onto St. Simons Island. Commercial vehicles may be subject to additional screening procedures. Businesses on St. Simons Island are encouraged to remain open during this time. The Glynco Jetport will be closed to private aircraft during the Summit. The U.S. Secret Service has been working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure that this causes as little inconvenience to private aviators as possible. Regularly scheduled commercial flights will continue as normal. The FAA will conduct "Flight Advisory Town Hall Meetings" in the Savannah and Brunswick areas in May.
