Key Abbreviations

DA -     Development assistance provided under the Functional 
         Development Assistance Program and the Development 
         Fund for Africa.

ESF -    Assistance provided under the Economic Support Fund.

PL 480 - Assistance provided under Titles II and III of the 
         Food for Peace legislation.

NARCS -  Assistance provided under the International Narcotics 
         Control Program of the Department of State.

Peace Corps - Assistance provided by the Peace Corps.

Other Econ -  Primarily includes Special Assistance Initiative 
              funding for Eastern Europe and Multilateral 
              Assistance Initiative funding for the Philippines.

IMET -   International Military Education and Training Program.

FMF -    Foreign Military Finance Programs, loan and grant 
         assistance programs.
